Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of www.thechesslifestyle.com and the chess coaching services provided by TheChessLifestyle, Sector 120, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. By accessing the site or enrolling, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide online chess coaching (Zoom/Google Meet), offline coaching at our Sector 120 Noida academy, free trial classes (one per student), monthly coaching packages, and tournament preparation sessions.

2. Free Trial Class

• One free 45-minute trial per student — no credit card, no obligation.
• Slots are subject to coach availability; confirmed within 24 hours of form submission.
• Please give at least 2 hours' notice to reschedule a trial.

3. Fees & Payment

• Enrolment is confirmed on receipt of applicable fees.
• Package pricing is communicated after the trial class.
• Fees are due at the start of each billing period.
• Fee revisions will be notified 30 days in advance.

4. Rescheduling by Student

• Notify us at least 4 hours before a class to reschedule without penalty.
• Maximum 2 reschedules per month are free. Classes missed without notice are forfeited.

5. Cancellations by Us

If we cancel a class (coach illness, technical issues), we will arrange a makeup class or issue a credit/refund per our Refund Policy.

6. Code of Conduct

Students and parents must treat coaches with respect, be punctual, and not record sessions without written consent. We may terminate services for serious misconduct without refund.

7. Online Class Requirements

Students need a stable internet connection, working camera and microphone, and access to Zoom or Google Meet. Technical issues on the student's end will not be compensated.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content and course materials are the property of TheChessLifestyle and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to fees paid in the current billing period. We are not liable for tournament outcomes, rating changes, or losses arising from technical failures beyond our control.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
