Chess in New York
New York City is the chess capital of the United States. Home to the legendary Marshall Chess Club (founded 1915), the New York State Chess Association, and one of the most intense scholastic chess circuits in the country, NYC students face elite competition at every level. The NY State Scholastic Championships and Marshall Club tournaments attract hundreds of highly-trained competitors.
The famous IS 318 chess programme in Brooklyn is a testament to what structured coaching can achieve — producing national champions from public school students. Our FIDE-rated coaches bring that same rigor to students across NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and the tri-state area, delivered online to EST schedules.
NY State Scholastic & Marshall Chess Club
Our coaches prepare students for NY State Scholastic Championships, Marshall Club events, and national USCF tournaments. We specifically build the tactical precision, positional depth, and clock management skills needed to compete at New York's ultra-competitive scholastic level.
